Ideal RJ of the Year 2008 is an open competition that runs for two months and is in search of talented people who have a dream to be a Radio Personality. The prime objective of the program is to identify the new talents & to provide them an opportunity in Radio. This program will be first of its kind and will continue every year. Ideal RJ of the Year 2006 also contains Life Time Achievements Award to a pioneer Radio Personality every year.
45 out of total applicant will be selected on the basis of interview as finalist. 45 finalists will go through one month training. After training, 45 finalists will get chance to present program ON-AIR through STAR FM 100.
Each will get 3 types of program to present.
1. News Base
2. Drama
3. Informative & entertainment
Among 26 finalists top 3 will be selected as Ideal RJ of the Year 2008 of the year, First Runner Up and Second Runner Up according to the SMS, e-mail, Phone calls, letters & Judgment of panel of Judge and performance during the training period.
Details of the competition
45 applicants will be selected as the finalist among the total applicants and goes on competition.
Competition duration will be of 45 days.
It includes complete RJ training and 1 month (90 programs) On-Air as competition.
Training includes Mass Communication, Program Presentation, Script Writing, Program Production, News Reading, Reporting, Editing, Live Commentary, Ad. Making, Radio Technology & Technical, Public Speaking & Relation, Speech Art, Leadership Development, MC & Stage Program, Radio Marketing and many more.
45 finalists will get chance to On-Air their programs as competition.
Each finalist should present News base, Informative and Entertainment programs.
45 finalists name will be published in the different media.
Top three finalists will be selected for three different titles through listener voting & judgment of panels of judges.
This competition follows the next series of the competition next year.
After the competition
Best three finalists will be titled as the Ideal RJ of the year 2008, First Runner Up and Second Runner Up of the competition.
Best three finalists will be placed as RJs of Star FM 100 MHz.
Top three will get attractive Prizes and Trophy.
Remaining 42 finalists can run their programs according to the conditions applied by star fm 100 MHz.
Certificates will be distributed to the entire 45 finalists.
Celebration and Special program will be organized.
Terms & Condition for Finalists
Finalists should be regular, punctual & dedicated during the training period & competition.
Finalists cannot participate in similar type of contest or competition until Ideal RJ of the Year 2008 competition ends.
Rs. 3,000/- will be charged as admission, training and maintenance charge.
Last date of admission 19th of Shrawn, the delay will not be considered.
Finalists should not do any activity against Star FM and this competition.
All the decisions remain under the management team of this competition.
